The collection is primarily correspondence consisting of Christmas letters from Bond and to one of his U.N.D. students, Maurice E. Jarvis. There is a gap from 1935-1945. Also included are: letters from Mrs. Jesse H. Bond, following the death of her husband, to Jarvis; obituary notice and funeral card on Jesse Bond; a letter from Arthur Stillman, Elsie Bond's second husband to Jarvis, regarding Elsie's stroke; correspondence between Jarvis and the University of North Dakota Alumni Association concerning the donation of this collection and an educational fund in the name of three former faculty members, Dean Ezra Thayer Towne, Jesse H. Bond, Claude R. Tharpe.
